where the fight against the Cogges Link Road continues unabated!

Cogges Link Road Public Inquiry Date and Venue announced

Oxfordshire County Council have chosen Eynsham Hall, North Leigh, Witney, OX29 6PN as the venue for the Public Inquiry regarding the compulsory purchase of lands for the Cogges Link Road. The inquiry is due to commence at 10:00 on Tuesday 20th September 2011 and is scheduled to run for 2 weeks.

We do not think that Eynsham Hall, which is 3 miles from Witney and would require a half-mile walk from the bus-stop to the Eynsham Hall entrance, is a suitable venue for a PUBLIC INQUIRY for a road that is proposed to be built in the middle of Witney.

If you agree that this venue is far too remote from the town centre and will be inconvenient for the majority of Witney Residents, then
